Woodruff Scholars Program

The Robert W. Woodruff Scholarship is the founding scholarship of the Emory Scholars Program. Awarded to the top 1% of high school applicants, it provides a generous financial package, experiential opportunities, and connection to a university-wide network.

The Bobby Jones Scholarship is a distinctive postbaccalaureate exchange program where four Emory University graduates and four University of St Andrews graduates are selected for a fully funded year of study in any discipline between the universities.

Academic Honors

Honors Program

The Honors Program is an opportunity to conduct intensive research during a students’ senior year, culminating in a thesis project and defense. Open to Emory College students, the program has college-wide and department-specific requirements.

A recognition of high academic achievement, Honors in Course is a graduation distinction automatically awarded to the top 30% of Emory College graduates based on their cumulative GPA and rank in the graduating class.

The oldest honor society in America, Phi Beta Kappa celebrates excellence in the liberal arts and sciences and champions freedom of thought. Membership is granted by invitation from Emory's chapter to seniors based on their academic accomplishments.
