Transfer Orientation

Transfer Orientation is required and runs Saturday, August 22 - Tuesday, August 25, 2026. 

Between Saturday, Aug. 22 and Tuesday, Aug. 25, Transfers will have access to a mix of required and optional in-person Orientation events.

Our most important sessions begin on Sunday afternoon and include the Welcome Lunch, Transfer Essentials, and the first meeting of Transfer small groups. Students living off-campus will receive their EmoryCard at the Welcome Lunch.

On the schedule below, filter by Required to see the sessions you must attend. These sessions are marked with a red dot and "REQUIRED" in the title. Everything else on the schedule is optional, including drop-in campus events and highly recommended community-building activities specifically for transfer students. There's no need to register—just show up!
