New Student Programs

New Student Programs manages transition programs for new first-year students, transfer students and Oxford Continuees and their families. We work collaboratively with units across the University to ensure the newest members of our community feel supported so that they can engage with all Emory has to offer.

Goals: 

• Introduce new students to information and resources that are fundamental to four years of academic and social success 
• Foster community by connecting new students to faculty, staff, peer leaders, and other students 
• Facilitate the exploration of various academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular opportunities available at Emory 
• Design an experience where students feel supported, prepared, welcomed, and excited to be a member of our community
• Educate families about the resources available to them and their students
