Move-In

Move-in is a campus-wide effort to welcome our newest members of the Emory community!

Move-in 2025 Dates:

• August 18, 2025: Move-in Day for Pre-Orientation and International Student Welcome (ISW) participants only.
• August 23, 2025: Move-in Day for all incoming First-Year students not participating in a Pre-Orientation program or ISW.

Booking family travel? High-level schedules for both students and families on Move-in days can be found within the Emory Welcome App starting in May.

Move-in information will populate on the Emory Welcome App on July 15. Topics include:

• Move-in instructions and directions for each Residence Hall
• Shipping information
• Packing suggestions
• What to expect for students and parents during Move-in and Orientation Week
